This letter was handwritten by serial killer Aileen Wuornos while on Florida’s death row. The letter was written to Aileen’s best friend Dawn Botkins. Aileen has signed the letter as well as the original envelope that accompanies the letter. It also includes multiple small drawings done by Aileen. The letter itself is very interesting in content. You can see how angry she is with the system and news media and the way they portrayed her.

COA included

Aileen Carol Wuornos (February 29, 1956 – October 9, 2002) was an American serial killer who murdered seven men in Florida between 1989 and 1990. Working as a sex worker along highways, Wuornos shot her victims with a .22 caliber pistol and later claimed the killings were committed in self-defense against clients who had assaulted or attempted to assault her.

She was arrested in January 1991 and subsequently confessed to the murders. Wuornos was convicted of six counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death. Her case drew widespread media attention due to her troubled upbringing, history of abuse, and complex psychological profile. Wuornos was executed by lethal injection in Florida on October 9, 2002.
