This is a four page letter and envelope set written by Danny Rolling, the Gainesville Ripper. The handwritten letter also includes a small piece of artwork that he did in colored pencil and sent with the letter. The letter itself has been written on scrap pieces of paper, however, even though the pages appear to be cut out, they are not missing anything. He wrote them on scrap pieces. This letter was written while incarcerated in Alabama.

He printed his full name on the envelope and signed the end of the letter “Danny.”

Danny Rolling was an American serial killer who killed five college students in August of 1990 in Gainesville, FL, coining him the name “The Gainesville Ripper.” He was also responsible for three murders in the state of Louisiana the previous year. He was convicted and sentenced to death in the state of Florida and was executed by lethal injection in 2006. Rolling was Wes Craven’s inspiration for the infamous horror movie “SCREAM.”
