Charles “Tex” Watson Signed Fingerprint Chart

This is the original fingerprint card from Charles “Tex” Watson's 1970 arrest for the Manson Family Tate-LaBianca murders, taken at the time of his extradition to California.

The 8 x 8 in. official FBI fingerprint card bears twenty prints and Watson's signature 'Charles Denton Watson', taken at the Sheriffs Office in McKinney, Texas.

The card is also signed and dated Sep. 3, 1970 by two L.A.P.D. detectives assigned to the Sharon Tate murder case who had been sent to McKinney to receive Watson for transport back to Los Angeles. One of the detectives signing is Sgt. Michael J. McGann, the lead detective on Tate case.
