This bible spent over a decade with Aileen Wuornos during her time on Florida’s death row. There are hundreds of handwritten notes, entries and highlights throughout the Bible. She’s signed her entire name in it multiple times as well, including on the inside cover where she wrote “Belongs to Aileen Carol Wuornos, and don’t you forget it.”

Aileen Carol Wuornos (February 29, 1956 – October 9, 2002) was an American serial killer who murdered seven men in Florida between 1989 and 1990. Working as a sex worker along highways, Wuornos shot her victims with a .22 caliber pistol and later claimed the killings were committed in self-defense against clients who had assaulted or attempted to assault her.
She was arrested in January 1991 and subsequently confessed to the murders. Wuornos was convicted of six counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death. Her case drew widespread media attention due to her troubled upbringing, history of abuse, and complex psychological profile. Wuornos was executed by lethal injection in Florida on October 9, 2002.
