Douglas Daniel Clark (born March 10, 1948) is an American serial killer and necrophile convicted of six murders committed in Los Angeles County in 1980, alongside his accomplice and lover, Carol Mary Bundy. Known as the “Sunset Strip Killers,” the pair targeted young women, including sex workers and runaways, in crimes marked by extreme sexual violence.
Clark was arrested after Bundy’s confession and was convicted of multiple counts of murder, rape, and mutilation. Sentenced to death in 1983, he remains on death row in California. The case is often cited as an example of sadistic partnership homicide and psychopathic personality convergence in serial offending.
