His crimes primarily occurred in Peoria and Tazewell Counties and targeted women between their late 20s and mid-40s.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBright’s killing spree lasted approximately 15 months. Investigators determined that he murdered his victims through methods including strangulation and fatal drug overdoses. Afterward, Bright disposed of the bodies in remote areas and, in several cases, burned the remains in a fire pit at his Peoria residence before crushing the remaining bones and scattering the fragments.
