This artwork was executed by Manson Family member Bruce Davis, often referred to as being Charles Manson’s right hand man. Davis completed this artwork while serving a life sentence for his role in the murder of Gary HInman and Donald Shea in 1969. Davis recently passed away in prison in September of 2026. Bruce Davis was a prominent member of the Manson Family, the cult-like group led by Charles Manson during the late 1960s. Davis was involved in the group’s criminal activities and was convicted for his role in the murders of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald “Shorty” Shea in 1969. He was sentenced to life in prison and became one of several Manson Family members prosecuted for the group’s violent crimes.
