William Sapp is an American convicted murderer from Jacksonville, Florida. In 2002, he abducted and killed 21-year-old college student Michelle O’Connell after forcing her into her own vehicle at gunpoint outside her apartment complex. Her body was later discovered in a remote area in Nassau County, Florida.
Sapp was arrested shortly after the crime and, in 2004, was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping, and armed robbery. He was sentenced to death. The case drew significant attention in Florida due to the brutality of the crime and the young age of the victim.
Sapp remains on death row in Florida. Currently there are multiple other murders being investigated that Sapp has recently admitted to. The bodies are buried in Jacksonville, FL, and NCIS plans to do a dig to find these bodies in the coming months
