Jack Kevorkian Original Oil Painting

This original Jack Kevorkian oil painting was done for his sister Margaret Janus who then sold it to a NYC collector to finance their euthanasia activities.

It's one of several 'political' themed works Kevorkian painted but one of only two that reside in a private collection while all other original paintings (except for several Kevorkian reported as being stolen) are in the collection of an Armenian Library and Museum of America in Watertown, Massachusetts.

One of a kind and extremely rare! It measures 16x20 on stretched canvas and comes professionally framed.

Jack Kevorkian (May 26, 1928 – June 3, 2011), nicknamed “Dr. Death,” was an American pathologist and euthanasia advocate who gained national attention for assisting terminally ill patients in ending their lives. Between 1990 and 1998, Kevorkian claimed to have assisted in more than 130 deaths using his self-designed euthanasia devices.

Kevorkian was convicted of second-degree murder in 1999 for one assisted suicide that he personally administered and served eight years in prison. Released in 2007, he continued advocating for physician-assisted dying until his death in 2011. His actions sparked intense ethical and legal debate surrounding end-of-life rights and medical responsibility.
