Kenneth Alessio Bianchi (born May 22, 1951) is an American serial killer and rapist, one half of the “Hillside Stranglers” duo alongside his cousin Angelo Buono Jr. The pair kidnapped, raped, and murdered at least 10 women and girls in Los Angeles between 1977 and 1978.
Bianchi later attempted to feign multiple personality disorder to avoid conviction but was determined to be malingering. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1983. His case has been central to criminal psychology research on deception, psychopathy, and collaborative serial homicide.
