Tracy Allen Hampton is an American double murderer who gained notoriety for the racially motivated killings of Charles Findley and Tanya Ramsdell in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2001. Prosecutors presented evidence that Hampton, who was associated with white supremacist beliefs, murdered Findley in retaliation for cooperating with law enforcement and then killed the pregnant Ramsdell because he believed she was carrying a Black man’s child. Convicted of two counts of first degree murder and one count of manslaughter for the death of Ramsdell’s unborn child, Hampton was sentenced to death and remains on Arizona’s death row.
