This listing is for volumes 1 and 2 of the Heaven’s Gate Cult’s audio teachings. Both CD’s are in fantastic shape overall, and include all the original branding on the front of the discs.

Heaven’s Gate was a U.S.-based religious cult founded in the 1970s by Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles. The group believed that Earth was about to be “recycled” and that salvation required leaving their human bodies to ascend to a higher, extraterrestrial level of existence. Members lived under strict rules, rejected mainstream society, and waited for a sign to depart the physical world.

In 1997, Applewhite led 39 followers in a mass suicide in Rancho Santa Fe, California, convinced that their souls would board a spacecraft they believed was traveling behind the passing Hale-Bopp comet. The event remains one of the most infamous mass suicides in modern American history and a major example of high-control cult dynamics.
